Background of Riccall Carers Care Agency in YorkRiccall Carers provides friendly reliable care workers to you in your own home. This brings you peace of mind and reassurance, because you are supported and cared for in familiar surroundings. Riccall Carers Domiciliary Care Agency was created in 1998 by directors Gill and Tony Conroy. Still independent and family run, the team has now grown to over 125 directly employed care staff including our experienced care management team consisting of a Registered Manager and Deputy, specialist Training Manager, NVQ Assessors, Office Manager, Care Coordinators and over 125 qualified Care Support Workers. We are both small enough to care individually for you, but large enough to handle your complex care needs. We treat you as an individual and concentrate on matching your specific needs with the skills of our care workers. Our office base is in Riccall, a village conveniently located between York and Selby. We cater for people living along the A19 corridor servicing York and surrounding suburbs in the North, Selby and surrounding villages in the South and all villages in between. Exceeding standards set by the Commission for Social Care InspectionOur work meets and exceeds standards set by our regulatory body: the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI). Please download a full copy of our latest independent CSCI Inspection report at www.csci.org.uk. We are members of The United Kingdom Home Care Association (UKHCA), the Independent Care Group (ICG) and the National Care Association. We are an umbrella body for The Criminal Records Bureau . Gill and Tony Conroy also own and manage four Residential Care Homes in and around York and Selby which offer 24 hour care for older people some of whom may have dementia related illnesses.
